Welcome Back Campers!
Last year's camping season was filled with activities for all ages, including fishing contests, games, races, a Christmas scavenger hunt for the kids, poker runs, a camp cook-off, covered-dish dinners, Zumba sessions, belt sander races, hay rides, Luau, a trip on the "Newfie Express" down to the lake to watch the "Gentle Giants of Water Rescue" in action, a weekend with the Brothers of the Third Wheel (who we would like to welcome back again this year), oldies dances with Donnie Do Wop, live pool side broadcasts with COOL 101.7, the giant "slip n' slide" and dances with our very own D.J.'s, " Jazzy John and Scottie Too Hottie"! Our Christmas In July weekend literally "lit up the campground" with some serious decorating competition among our campers and the double Halloween Weekend was fun for all with trick or treating, decorating, Halloween costume dance and last but not least, the "Spooktacular" haunted hay rides. Our float entry in the Jamestown Community day Parade, brought Shangri-La our fifth straight win. Our 10-Year Memorial tribute in the parade to those who gave all on 9-11, was a moving experience for all who were involved. The rental cabins (in addition to the "Love Shack") have been expanded to include the "Bunkhouse". So come join our camp family. We have what you are looking for - whether it be relaxation, activities, peace and quiet, or campfire giggles, we've got it all!!!!
